If you've ever wondered where you can sip a cocktail while an alligator paddles by, Cherry Pocket Steak N Seafood Shak—whose slogan is "World Famous Cherry Pocket"—is your spot. Sitting right on Lake Pierce, it's the kind of place where time slows down. The menu keeps it simple and solid: fresh seafood, home-made desserts, our famous Cherry Dressing and dishes made to order so you get exactly what you want. While you wait, the Boat Bar is a prime perch to relax, watch the canal, and catch up with friends. Grab a drink, lean back, and let the gentle hum of the lake set the pace—you're officially off the clock.
Cherry Pocket isn't just about food—it's about the experience. Live music plays every day, cabins let you linger longer, and boat rentals put the lake right at your fingertips. The staff remembers your name, your favorite table, and maybe even your drink. You can take a breath, enjoy a meal without feeling rushed, and spot wildlife without leaving your seat. From casual family dinners to date nights, there's a sense that everyone here is part of the same story, swapping laughs and tall tales the way locals have for decades.
Winning the 2025 Best of Florida Regional Award wasn't a surprise. From canal-side views to a team that genuinely cares, Cherry Pocket blends Old Florida charm with just the right amount of adventure. Whether you're here for our seafood, a drink, or to see what the locals are talking about, it's the kind of place that makes you glad you showed up—and makes you plan your next visit before you even leave. Between the scenery, the staff, and the food that hits the mark every time, Cherry Pocket proves some stories—and some meals—are too good to rush.
